Naples to Sorrento vintage train

Sorrento Express is a special vintage train, dating back to 1942, which was renovated paying particular attention to the original materials and finishing work.
The train, which can accommodate 54 passengers, is equipped with air-conditioning and a Hi-fi system that provides pleasant background music during the trip. To make the time spent aboard more comfortable, typical traditional pastries (puff pastry with ricotta cheese and candied fruit, bergamot babà, coffee cream puffs) from the Campania Region, accompanied by the local sparkling wine are served. On the return trip passengers are offered coffee and chocolates.

The train leaves every Sunday from Naples and follows a picturesque route before arriving at Sorrento. The visit to Sorrento includes a guided tour, lunch in an historical restaurant in the city with 18th Neapolitan recipes and a sampling of typical liqueurs from Sorrento. In the afternoon the historical train returns to Naples arriving at its destination at 5:22PM.

Cost: adults: children under 10: 26 euros
The price includes: Naples-Sorrento round trip , guided tour of Sorrento, lunch and a sampling of liqueurs.
